Lancelin

General:
Lancelin, part of the Gingin Coast tourist area, is only 130km north of Perth on the coast route to the Pinnacles. Situated on the sparkling turquoise waters of Lancelin Bay and nestled against the spectacular Lancelin sand dunes, Lancelin provides a unique tourist destination.

The bay is protected by reef and is the safest natural anchorage between Fremantle and Geraldton. The clean tranquil waters are safe for swimming and ideal for children. Friendly sea lions and pods of dolphins love to play in the shallow waters.

The town is also located close to the famous Pinnacles, Yanchep National Park, Gingin and other tourist attractions. Originally a Cray-fishing port, Lancelin has become a relaxing friendly tourist village.

Tourist activities include fishing, snorkelling, surfing, windsurfing and sand boarding. Lancelin is a world famous windsurfing location and is visited by many international windsurfers every summer. For those who just need a relaxing holiday - Lancelin is just the place.
