Horrocks Beach

General:
The coastal scenery is magnificent all year round and the wildflowers (in season) are both prolific and beautiful.
Excellent offshore and beach fishing is available while the reef surrounding Three Mile Beach provides well protected waters for safe swimming
and boating.
Other activities include surfing, skindiving, windsurfing and viewing Aboriginal caves. Public facilities include a cricket pitch, post office, general store, BBQs, playground, tennis and a nine hole par three golf course. A jetty has recently
been opened.

The Bowes River mouth
is a scenic beach favoured among surfers.
The sandstone escarpment following the river is rich
in indigenous culture. Willigully Caves feature rock art created by the Nanda people to describe and communicate their traditions, ideas and values.
