Windjana Gorge
National Park
The park consists of a 3.5km long gorge, formed by the Lennard River as it snakes its way through an ancient limestone reef. The river flows for only short periods in the wet season.
Tunnel Creek National Park
35kms from Windjana Gorge. This park offers a unique opportunity to explore a creek with permanent pools of fresh water, as it tunnels 750 metres through the Napier Range. As you may have to wade, you will need a swimsuit, good torch and shoes that cover your feet and can take being wet.
Bell Gorge
Boab trees line Bell Creek, which cascades in a series of falls down through deep gorges. This gorge is one of the most attractive in the West Kimberley. Open May-Oct with comfortable campsites.
Manning Gorge
306kms from Derby. Camp by a tranquil pool and explore the walk to Manning Falls.
