General:
The Shire of Chapman Valley comprises an area of approximately 4,000 square kilometres, extending from the coast north of Geraldton eastward to the Greenough River and from the East Chapman River (approx.) in the south to north of the Vermin Proof Fence.

The south-western area is dominated by the flat topped Moresby Range, the hills of which are the cause of much interest to visitors.
Attractions:
Waggrakine Cutting Lookout, with its panoramic views of the Chapman Valley.
Nanson, just north of Geraldton.
Nabawa, the administrative centre of the Shire of Chapman Valley which is situated on the main Geraldton to Yuna Road.
Yuna, the community centre of a vast agricultural area, comprising roughly half the entire area of the Shire of Chapman Valley.
